Is Brexit to blame?

I have seen and heard a lot from ‘Remainers’ and ‘Antibrexiteers’ that all our woes can be laid at the feet of the ‘Brexit monster!’  Well maybe but judging by the state of our European neighbours I have my doubts. France has debts of more than €3 billion and a President unable to form a government. Germany is falling into a depression and moving to the ‘Right’. Austria has already adopted a Pro Russian stance. Holland is sharing power with a Pro Trumpite. Hungary is also pro Putin. Romania is looking towards Russia. Italy has a right-leaning government.  Spain has problems with its regions. Greece is an economic basket case. Poland has improved and the Baltic States are facing the fear of invasion from Russia. Ireland is facing economic problems and the whole of Europe is facing high tariffs from USA. UK is in a downward spiral but I absolutely refute that it is due to leaving the EU. Collectively, Europe and the UK have been living beyond their means and the medicine required to balance the books tastes awful. We are all in decline although the rich get richer and the gap to the poor increases.
