I read an article Monday 12 August in the Times about the artificial meat market. Tons of money has been invested in start-ups on the reasoning that this will become hugely popular. Well, it hasn’t. Apparently it is too expansive to produce so folks won’t be buying it. Bit like electric cars. So why don’t people just eat less meat. You know. The good stuff. Home grown. Keeping local farmers in business and ensuring people at least have choice. My Beef (pun) is with the fast food industry which mass produces meat industrially having no care for the environment nor for the animals and most certainly not for the people that eat the rubbish.
